AP remote servo/wilwood bias pedal box
« Result #9 on Nov 18, 2006, 1:42pm »

Hi was wondering if anyone out there has any ideas on this one...??

Basically I have built a mk 3 fiesta RS1800 (sorry not a kit car!!)up with focus st170 engine and 6 speed 'box and as a result ran out of space for the standard servo setup.

I got in touch with Rally design and ordered a wilwood universal balance bar pedal box with a 0.625" master cylinder (front) and a 0.700" rear M/c, The car has Wilwood midlite 4 pots on the front with 285mm discs and standard drums at the back.

Once I bled the system and set it up I took the car out and noticed that you have to REALLY jump on the pedal just to stop the thing - I realised then that I still need a servo for our crazy Easten european driver-ridden roads! :'(
I ordered a brand new AP/Lockheed 2.3:1, 7" remote servo and fitted it last night to the front brakes only (using eagle kit car's tech advice), took the car out again and now the BACK end locks up when you press the pedal!

I have checked everything is how it should be, balance bar adjustment, bled system again etc but am stuck now...

*do i need to buy another servo (£140 :'() for the rear circuit too?
-As the servo's are for single-line systems.

I'm REALLY grateful for any help/advice on this thanks very much for your time, JIM. :)
